Version: 1.5.1 (64bit) 2022 or newer

Locate file and open as (Single Video file).

Set up Preferences


General Tab: Can leave as default

Output Files Tab: Default Path save to a local drive on machine.

File Format (source)

Filename behavior: (Append Number)

MP4 file extension: (Always use mp4)

Final format should read like image example. (surge_flooding_5F.mp4) in this case. This matches the MSDB file name structure sped by ID’s.

Main Screen


Summary tab setting:

Image shows the default setup. Also example of the Save As: location on your machine

Users can adjust settings in the (Preset Tab): as needed but the current is the default for MDG. Fast 1080p 30

Dimensions Tab


Cropping: Here we are looking for cropping errors. Set all cropping to zero’s like shown.

Resolution and Scaling: These are the current files settings leave as is (Automatic).

Borders: Leave as default settings.

Video Tab


Video: Framerate (FPS): set to (Same as source) Variable Framerate

Quality: Constant Quality 22 RF

Encoder Options: Level as default.

Audio Tab


Codec: Bitrate change to 512

All other settings default.

Subtitles: Leave as Default settings.

Chapters: Leave as Default settings.

When publishing final MP4


Click the green (Start Encode) button. File will be saved to the location listed in the

(Save As:) folder on your machine.

Add to Queue: Here you can load multiple videos and batch render a group of files. Load the Queue with videos then click (Start Encode).
