Introduction to MetEd Lesson Development

A new MetEd lesson can be created using the following internal tools:

  • MetEd Lesson Generator: for the file scaffolding and base structure (requires lesson metadata from Active Projects List)

  • Gdocs Lesson Builder Extension: for adding pseudo-tags and syntax to Google doc storyboard, and exporting to Meted Prototype Viewer (requires UCAR/NCAR Google account access)

  • MetEd Prototype Viewer: for source code that can be insterted into the print.php file, and lesson content preview testing

  • Articulate Storyline 360: for slide-based interactions or lessons, see the Articulate Storyline 360 section for usage
